On Jan. 13, 2022, the Institute for Factory Automation and Production Systems invited its former and active researchers to the FAPS Academic Award Night (FAAN). Due to the pandemic, the event took place digitally via Zoom and wonder.me.
The highlight of the event was the awarding of special academic achievements at the institute in 2021 by the FAPS Professional Network e.V.
The following were pleased to receive an award:
- Toni Albert in the category “Master Thesis”
- Markus Lieret in the category “Publication”
- Dr. Eike Schäffer in the category “PhD Thesis”
In addition to the award ceremonies, the event provided an opportunity for exchange and networking during several FAPS-speed-dating rounds. To liven up the award ceremony and the speed dating, the participants were each sent a beer package with four different Franconian beers by the FAPS ProNet e.V.
The FAPS congratulates the winners and thanks the FAPS Professional Network e.V. as well as all contributors and all guests for their participation.
