Prof. Dr. Yu-Ting Tsai from Feng Chia University (Taichung, Taiwan) is staying at the Institute of Factory Automation and Production Systems (FAPS) for a 5-month research visit and continued international research support afterward. Feng Chia University is a partner university of the Friedrich-Alexander University and works together beside joint research activities to exchange personnel and expertise.

Research

Yu-Ting Tsai participates in research activities of FAPS in its acoustics and artificial intelligence area. In particular, he supports the development of means to detect anomalies in industrial production systems by analyzing the sound&vibration emissions using machine learning methods.
