Project description

Based on a worldwide increasing individuality and flexibility of control units (PCB technology) as well as an increasing demand of equipment with energy efficiency detection in this project an intelligent self-controlling test system with the following characteristic components is developed:

– A simple and inexpensive sensor technology that allows handling systems to flexibly and automatically adapt to interchangeable samples, test modules and -adapters by an intelligent calibration to minimize the effort for setting-up.

– A conceptually sound representation and optimization of energy consumption in the production process on the basis of different measurement concepts that is of high relevance regarding the increased demand for energy-efficient solutions.

– The integration of these concepts in an intelligent self-controlling test system that combines the calibration and energy data acquisition and is implemented and tested within a demonstrator.
