Due to rising energy prices and the environmental issues related to the high energy consumption, the demand for energy and resource efficiency experience a rising attention in the manufacturing industry in recent years.
Within the E|Optistrom project methods are developed which promote a conscious, direct optimization of the energy demand in electronics production, reduce heat loss and optimize the use of energy supply and demand for soldering ovens. The use of a heat pump is an advanced solution to reuse the waste heat from the cooling process in the soldering process. The application of a heat exchanger is presented as a part of this project. Furthermore, the entire electricity consumption of the electronics production will be transparently demonstrated.
