Project description

The aim of the AngElo research project – Connecting Printed Electronics to the Onboard Network – is to develop novel connection and contacting concepts for printed electronics in aviation. For this purpose, requirements for the connections are defined with experts from the aviation industry and suitable concepts are developed. These are then prototyped and characterized. In particular, environmental tests and investigations of long-term reliability are in the foreground.

The research project focuses on the following areas:

• Expert-supported requirements analysis
• Concept development for reliable contacts
• Manufacturing of prototypes with consideration of automation potentials
• Environmental tests and reliability testing according to relevant aviation standards
