01.05.2020: New Research Assistant at FAPS | Tobias Reichenstein, M.Sc.

Tobias Reichenstein joined the research sector Automated Productionsystems as a research assistant on May 1st 2020.

After his bachelor’s degree (B.Eng.) at the Albstadt-Sigmaringen University he graduated in mechanical engineering (M.Sc.) at the Friedrich-Alexander-University Erlangen-Nuremberg. Already during his studies he supported the research at the research sector Wiring Systems of the chair FAPS both by working as a student assistant and by writing his master‘s thesis in cooperation with the Robert Bosch GmbH. In the context of his master’s thesis Tobias Reichenstein dealt with the „Development of a current flow measurement in resistance welding for the optimization of process monitoring“.

As part of his research work, Mr. Reichenstein will focus on the sensor-driven development of production systems in the context of digital business models.
