From 19.06.2023 onwards, Sophia Jordan reinforces the research area E|Drive as research master student.
Mrs. Jordan studied Mechatronics (Bachelor of Science) at Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg and is currently in her Master Studies in Mechatronics. She has supported the research activities at FAPS already in the context of her Bachelor Thesis. This work investigated process influence factors on the quality of coil systems for IPT applications using statistical design of experiments. Currently, she is working as student assistant at FAPS, working on the planning of a street-integrable design for coil systems in line with production requirements for dynamic inductive power transmission.
In the course of her research work, Mrs. Jordan will support the research project E|MPOWER which aims at integrating the charging technology into a motorway section of one kilometer. For this purpose, manufacturing processes for the production of electrified streets are developed.
