Alexander Schneider joined the research sector automation technology as a research associate on 15.05.2022.

Mr. Schneider completed both the bachelor’s and master’s programs in electrical engineering-electronics-information technology (specialization: automation technology) at the Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg. In his master thesis he dealt with the development of a reference system for the compensation of relative movements during the magnetic localization of capsule endoscopes.

In his new position, Mr. Schneider will focus on deep reinforcement learning techniques for the reduction of CO2 emissions by energetic optimization of production control.
