The results of the first phase of the Business Plan Competition Northern Bavaria are known: Along with two other start-ups from FAU, the team oculai is also among the winners. At oculai, everything revolves around a solution for camera-based data collection on construction sites. By means of computer vision, data on construction progress, resource utilization and logistics are extracted from image material. The results are presented on a web platform in order to automate time-consuming documentation and to uncover efficiency potential in individual processes on the basis of the generated data. Also nominated for the finals was the team from ROBOTOP, which connects robotics providers and users with user-friendly collaborative mixed reality/XR SaaS tools.
We wish both teams good luck in the further stages of the competition.
