01.06.2023: New employee at the FAPS chair | Daniela Pisanu, M.Sc.

From 1 June 2023, Ms. Daniela Pisanu strengthens the research area of Home Automation as a research assistant.

Ms. Pisanu holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Engineering Management from the University of Siena in Italy. Her master’s thesis, entitled “An automatic method for the identification of sustainable performance indicators of companies”, was born from a collaborative project carried out during the curricular internship at the MOEBEUS company. During this project, Ms. Pisanu focused on identifying sustainable performance indicators for companies, using various techniques such as data analysis, text mining and information retrieval.

During her Master’s programme, Ms. Pisanu had the opportunity to discover the fascinating fields of Machine Learning (ML) and Artificial Intelligence (AI). These experiences ignited her passion for these cutting-edge disciplines, motivating her to further expand her knowledge in these areas.

In the course of her research, Ms. Pisanu will deal with data sovereignty in Gaia-X-compliant software architectures joining the TEAM-X – Trusted Ecosystem of Applied Medical Data eXchange project.
