In the comfortable town of Gunzenhausen, the future strategy of the FAPS research group “Electronics Production” was elaborated from various viewpoints. One aim is to cover relevant issues in teaching to offer a comprehensive education to students. Then, sustainability is to be more strongly considered in the strategic shape of the research projects. Measures for machine procurement and improved space management in the laboratories of the Chair are worked on, and the task distribution within the reserach group is optimized. These issues were discussed in the sub-groups power electronics, innovative SMT and THT production as well as printed electronics (3D-MID).

To strengthen the team spirit, an athletic minigolf competition took place on the second day!
