Eike Schäffer receives the Best Paper Award of the 22nd International Workshop on Configuration on behalf of the author team. The paper “A development approach towards user-centered front-ends for knowledge-based engineering configurators: a study within planning of robot-based automation solutions” by Eike Schäffer, Sara Shafiee, Tobias Frühwald, and Jörg Franke prevailed against strong and innovative international competition. The innovative approach of user-centered front-end development for knowledge-based engineering configurators of the research project ROBOTOP was honored by international experts.
The 22nd International Workshop on Configuration from September 10-11, 2020 was held as an online event to consider the specific circumstances. During the two days, trend-setting research content from the field of configuration was published as well as presented and discussed in a circle of international experts.
