Till Sindel joins the Research Department Automation Technology starting the 1st of October 2023.

He received a Bachelor’s Degree in International Production Management and a Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nuremberg. Recently he has been working as a Project Engineer in the vaccum industry.

During his studies, he supported the Research Department Electromechanical Engineering as a Student Research Assistant and via his Bachelor’s and Project Thesis. His Master’s Thesis focused on the Enhancement of a Machine Learning Operations Framework for Cross-Process Applications in SMT Manufacturing.

Main aspect of his work will be the research project DualSys, which aims at providing a holistic approach for the optimization of production processes using the combination of learning systems.
