Andreas Giesert strengthens the research area signal and power networking as a research associate since 01.08.2023.

After his training as a technical product designer and subsequent work in the field of car seat development and design, he completed both his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in mechanical engineering at Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg.

During his studies, Mr. Giesert supported the research area of electronics production as part of his work as a student assistant and wrote master’s thesis in the production of metal-ceramic composite systems using selective laser beam melting.

Within the scope of his activities in the research sector SLV, Mr. Giesert will work on the project Next2OEM. This project aims to enable the reshoring of wiring harness production to Germany through digitization and automation of the value chain.
