After three years of pandemy, the Produktionstechnische Zentrum Hannover (PZH) being one of the WGP institutes (Wissenschaftliche Gesellschaft für Produktionstechnik, Scientific Community for Production Technology) welcomed 23 particpants from WGP Forum Office from across Germany in Hannover. From FAPS, Gertrud Stretz and Clara Phedra participated. The attendees used the opportunity to get to know various institutes at PZH and to network with people from other universities. A sightseeing tour in the city completed the first day.

On the second day, the participants worked on their voise skills within the workshop “Voice and Job” headed by Speaking Trainer Jutta Talley. Different sounds conveying different messages can be transferred by our voice. Besides, the three levels of preparation for crucial conversations were discussed and exercised. Here it is important to consider the context, the role(s) and the expectations of both sides.

All in all, the WGP Forum Office was a successful event and opportunity for assitants of WGP institutes for networking, learning and getting ideas for the improvement of one´s work.
