The FAPS chair is involved in the production of protective equipment for the university hospital by providing personnel and technical support. The project of the Faculty of Technology and the University Hospital is dedicated to providing medical staff with protective goggles, which are important for reducing the probability of infection with the COVID-19 virus. In addition, the chair supplies FAPS with a small series production of protective visors for medical practices and care facilities. The products are 3-D-printed and can be disinfected, which allows multiple use.
