07.01.2021: New Research Associate at FAPS | Marcel Baader, M.Sc.

Marcel Baader joined the research sector Electromechanical Engineering as a research associate on January 07, 2021. After completing his bachelor’s degree in International Production Engineering and Management, he graduated with a master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Friedrich-Alexander-University Erlangen-Nuremberg.

Within his master’s thesis, Mr. Baader investigated the impacts of manufacturing processes on the high-frequency characteristics of Hairpin-Stators in automotive traction drives. His future research work will deduce the potentials of AI in the production of electric drives by means of a process-oriented approach. This includes the instrumentation of relevant process steps, the integration of inline testing equipment, the adaptation of system interfaces, as well as the subsequent data-driven optimization.
