The research project E|KPI is funded by the German Federal Environmental Foundation.
The aim of the project is to evaluate available drive technologies for individual long-distance mobility and to make them comparable. To this end, a comprehensive comparative framework is to be designed and implemented, which will enable a holistic evaluation of key performance indicators for drive technologies on the basis of structured framework conditions. In addition to the vehicle drive, the analysis also includes infrastructure-related expenditures. The technology comparison can be used as an information basis for various players in the drive system transformation process.
